 Employee List


The Employee List allows you to add, edit and remove users or employees in your store. You can assign your user different roles such as Admin, Manger or user. By assigning different rights to your users, you can restrict or allow them to access certain features in the software. You can also create your own templates of certain rights for certain users so that it's convenient to add more users to that template.




User's Rights

A user's right is their ability to access certain features in CellSmart POS. You can edit all user's rights anytime.  


A User's Role

A user's role in the software is the same as their role in your store. If there's a manager in your store, you may select  their role as a manager.  Each role consists of different rights. Similar to how your manager will have different rights than your sales reps in your store.  Each role is not limited to specific rights, you can always edit those rights anytime.



Creating a new user


  1. From the home screen, click on the Admin tools.
  2. Then click on the Employee list icon.
  3. Click on the Blue plus icon located at the bottom right corner.
  4. Select the gender of you user by clicking on the appropriate icon on the left.

         

     5.In the Employee window, enter the user's name and password.
     6.Select the user's role by clicking on the drop down menu.
     7.Click save to create the user.


Editing a user's rights

A user's rights are linked to their role. However, you can edit a user's right and customize your user. To do so you may:

  1. From the home screen, click on the Admin tools.
  2. Then, the Employee list icon.
  3. From the list of your users, select the user you want to edit and click on the pencil icon from the options.
  4. Once the Employee window opens up, Click on this    icon and from the list of permissions check or uncheck the rights you want for your user.
  5. Once you're done, you may click out from the window and click save to save the changes.

Editing a User's Role
  1. From the home screen, click on the Admin tools.
  2. Then, the Employee list icon.
  3. From the list of your users, select the user you want to edit and click on the pencil icon from the options.
  4. Once the Employee window opens up, select a different role for your user by clicking the Select Role drop-down menu.
  5. Click Save to save the changes.

General

Enter more details about your user in the general tab, such as contact information and address. After entering any details make sure to click save.


Commission

  • Enable commissions for your employee by toggling the Pay Commission button.
  • Select a commission template for your user by clicking on the drop-down menu.
  • Select a payee(to whom the commission will be given to) by clicking the Select Payee drop-down menu.
Performance

  • Monitor your user's performance by entering their own yellow and green light amount. Which will give you an idea of how their performance is affecting your profits.
                 Yellow Light amount: How much revenue the user has to generate which is required for                                                                                       them.
                 
                 Green Light amount: How much revenue the user generates that makes him a good employee.

  • Enter your user's payroll information by entering an hourly pay rate in the Hourly rate field.
  • Select the user's preferred language (Spanish or English) by clicking on the drop-down menu,


Discount:




  • Allow your employees to give limited discounts to customers by controlling their discount limits. You can change an employee's discount limit by checking any category and moving the slider to the desired percentage amount.

Promotion List

Sending out promotional text messages helps you bring more customers to your store. It's an efficient way of letting your customer know regarding the latest sales and special offers going on in your store. You are able to select specific carriers that hold customers and send a promotional message with a cost of 2¢ per message. Having the advantage of translating English to Spanish in your message allows you to broaden your promotion range and send promotions to all of your customers despite the language they speak.

For any carrier/company that has an ongoing promotion, you can specifically send out your promotion to only the customers with the said carrier/company.


Sending a Promotion

  1. From the home screen, click on the Admin tools.
  2. Then click on the promotion list icon.
  3. Select the promotion tab on top.
  4. Click on the blue plus (+) icon located at the bottom right corner.
  5. Select Plan promotion and the promotion window will open up.
  6. Under carrier list, select the carriers/customers you want to send the promotion to, otherwise check select all, you also have the ability to send it to all the customers on your customer list even if they never made a bill payment with you by checking the box against carrier not assigned.
  7. Your total customer count & cost will be shown at the bottom left.
  8. Under promotion message, type in the message you want to write in the promotion. Consider entering your Store name, address and contact number before typing the message due to the 150 character count limit on each promotion. As you type, the software will tell you the character count.
  9. To translate the message into Spanish click on the translate button in blue.
  10. Click on the send promotion button to send your promotion.
  11. Since using this feature will have a cost to it, you can avail prepaid credit. Click on the add funds button and type in the amount you wish to add. The amount will be charged from the credit card we have from you on the file.         

 

Tips that work

While sending out a promotion makes sure you keep it to 150 characters to be able to send it.

While typing the promotional message try to do the following, goes a long way with the customer.

Try to use the word “Free” whenever possible.

Try to use the words “Limited time offer” or “act now”.

Try to use the words “Special Offer” or “Only for you”.

Unlocks

The unlock phone feature in CellSmart POS allows you to unlock any unlockable phones by providing codes and instructions. You can select you device's carrier and make and CellSmart POS will provide you with its unlock code and instructions based on the EST the software provides you with.

Unlocking a phone

  1. From the home screen, click on Lists.
  2. Then, click on the Unlocks icon.
  3. Click on the blue plus icon located at the bottom right corner.
  4. From the list of carriers, select the carrier that supports your device.
  5. Select your device's make( which device) by clicking on the  Select Make drop-down menu.
  6. The Time and Cost of the unlock will be shown on top of the window.
  7. Enter the Model number of your device in the Model name field. ( Model numbers can usually be found inside the device's phone settings or in the back of the device).
  8. Enter the IMEI number of the phone in the IMEI field.
  9. Click save to Create an unlock invoice. After the Unlock is complete, it will fall under the list of unlocks.



Add Funds( Under Construction)

CellSmart POS allows you to add funds into your software's account. You may select this option and enter the amount of credit you want in your account and Click save. This option will allow you to unlock phones even when there is no credit card set up in the software or if the card is not working.



After Creating the Unlock invoice

After you have successfully created the unlock invoice through the new tab, you may go into the list of Unlocks through the List tab and the unlock invoice you created will be listed with its unlock code and instructions. you may follow those instructions and proceed with the unlock.


When do I get charged?

You are charged when you successfully unlock a phone. If, for some reason, an error occurred with the code/instructions or for some reason the unlock did not work. You will not be charged, even when your card is setup in the software until the unlock is successful.



How do I get charged?

You will be charged through the card you have setup in the software, or through the credit you have in your CellSmart account( Funds).



View your Unlocks

you can view your unlocks through the List of unlocks, by clicking on the List tab and clicking on the Unlocks icon.
